Trike Theater Summer Camps!!!

I have posted a flyer from Trike Theater prompting different camps held throughout the summer. Please take a moment and click on their website. It will be worth your time! Your child will be a part of a learning opportunity that will they will remember for a very long time. We use a lot of theater in our classroom throughout the year. Any camp designated as "Fayetteville" will be held at Walton Arts Center.
There is an opportunity on each registration form to add a contribution to our scholarship fund. You can help make this a memorable summer for a child in our community by donating to Trike's Scholarship Fund.

Bring Shakespeare's words to life right here in Northwest Arkansas! Trike is collaborating with our friends Justin and Virginia Scheuer from The Classical Edge Theatre to bring some iambic pentameter to your summer.

Systems of the Body
Unit 6
We are currently learning about the many systems of the body in our last few weeks of school. Each time we learn about a new body system, we add another important piece to our body in the hallway. Below are two examples of the work we have accomplished in the past few weeks!!

Matt is sharing his strategy after solving a word problem in class. His explanation is very detailed. He is is using place value and created a strategy that best fit his own needs to find a solution to the story problem. Way to go, Matt!!! : )
